We are the oldest family run company in the world dedicated to the Defender brand. We started back in 1966 dealing with Land Rover products and over the years we have specialised in bespoke vehicles and conversions together with Overland Preparation, Rebuilds, Servicing and Vehicle Sales. We pride ourselves in trying to provide you with the best vehicle for your needs. Backed up with our commitment and customer service, giving you the Foley experience, here in the UK or overseas.

We are a Team of 15 dedicated people that are passionate about what we do. We have a paint shop, inhouse electrician, fabrication workshop, qualified mechanics, finishers and our workshops total  12,000 sq ft with parking for over 50 vehicles.

Defender Accident Repairs.

Did you know that we can repair your Defender If you have the misfortune of having an accident. We would love to repair it back to its former glory. You as the owner have the right to send your vehicle to a specialist.

We are now fitting this New 10" Stinger Head unit to DEFENDERs 2007 -2016.
This will give you Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and many more options. Its a great system that updates the interior of the Defender.

 FOLEY GT6x6 LS3

The ONE and ONLY  - No 1 of 1
This is what we can do, everything is made in our workshop and customised to fit this one off vehicle. Fitted with an LS3 and 6 speed auto, twin Air con and 6 Recaro seats. (spec on request)

This vehicle is a 2015 XS built vehicle - viewing by appointment only. Dry stored.

​This beast was fitted with the Foley 6x6 unit and limited slip differentials which, when combined with good off road tires, means you can go pretty much where ever.

A custom roll cage is added for safety.

An LS3 Engine and Auto box gets you going and a set of uprated brakes get you stopped in no time.


Caribbean calling!!!

We built 5 of these mega long 6x6 vehicles using the Foley 6x6 unit.

​The idea was to move as many people at any one time from the cruise ships that would come in to the Islands. 20 passengers at a time could fit it the rear and go on a great Island safari.
​
Built in 2019, for a gentleman who knew exactly what he wanted. This was powered by a Recon 300 Tdi engine and fitted with a Foley 6x6 unit.

All built onto a new custom galvanized chassis. Many other parts were also galvanized to last the test of time.

​ Custom Roll Cage for safety and interior to spec. This was all painted in parts and assembled in this classic Blue.
 

​This is the above vehicle prior to the body being built and it was tested as a chassis cab first.

The original vehicle was red and so the vehicle remained red with a splash of white. Its is now painted Rosso Red.

​​ Built in 2000 as a Global Explorer and powered by the trusted 300 Tdi.   It was built at great expense from a New LHD ROW base vehicle.

Fitted with the Foley 6x6 unit and locking diffs, 1000 ltr fuel tank, full lifting roof and many other extras. This vehicle now has had 2 owners and the vehicle continues to drive all over the world on the original engine. 

 In 2020, we completed a refit to the vehicle ready for its next adventure. This is a beast of a vehicle that has been used hard for what it was made for....adventure.

These Galvanized chassis changes range from a simple swap to a full rebuild, giving our customers options. We also keep a good stock of Galvanized Chassis' and Bulkheads, providing plenty of availability to our customers also.

Hundreds of Chassis Changes have been carried out over the many years that Foley's have been in business, also including Bulkhead Swaps and Accident Repairs!

Bulkhead Replacements and repairs.

​We also offer a bulkhead repair service or a Full replacement option. Footwell and other ites can be cut out and replaced with new metal and then seam sealed and painted.
For a full replacement bulkhead we can offer Galvanised or Zinc Plated option, these would both be seam sealed, primes and painted. The galvanised option does require more preparation to get the paint finished required.
All repairs, repairs and paint are carried out on site at Foleys.
We use DDS Metals Ltd for the supply of the bulkheads as these are made as close to original and are made for the correct year and engine model. V8, 200, 300 tdi, Td5 early and late etc. Please call for details.
